Oil Cooler Seals Replacement

I just ordered the kit from dieselorings.com . I have the procedure down but I'm not very strong in the cooling system. After I drain the coolant, do I need to actually flush the system or can I just refill with the proper coolant and SCA additives? If I should flush, does anyone have a flush procedure for our trucks? Thanks.

I would flush it if you found evidence of oil in the coolant. I would probably flush it after you get everything back together and no evidence of further leakage. I would use something like Fleetguard Restore, following their recommendations while using the block and radiator drains to get everything out. Cheers!
