How and where does the on board computer mount

Hey. New here. I just restored a 97 reg cab from the ground up. Frame off , full repaint, lift , took me 3 years but it's about a day away from being complete.

My dilemma is how and where does the on board computer mount? I thought I remember it being on the drivers inside fender but I'm having issues!

Any help or pics would be awesome. As soon as I figure how to upload pics I'll get some on here!

Welcome!

It is down low on the driver's side firewall. The box on the driver's side inner fender below the hood hinge is the Injector Driver Module (IDM). To remove the PCM, you need to partially remove the plastic inner fenderwell, unbolt the PCM connector, remove the bolts holding the PCM in, and then flex the plastic fenedrwell out of the way enough to allow the PCM to be pulled out. Cheers!
