Surge while warming up
Hey everybody. I have a 97 powerstroke that has hade a surging problem for a while now. As my temp gauge gets just off cold it starts to get a surge while cruising. Doesn't do it cold, and stops when gets to normal operating temp. Not a really bad surge but definitely noticeable. Doesn't seem to be a major problem now, just worried might be a symptom of something that could be later. Any help appreciated, thanks

Might be your Exhaust Back Pressure Valve not operating properly.

I wired the ebpv on a toggle. Could it still act up?
