ts chip problem PLZ HELP!

I just got my new ts chip from xdp it is going in my 97 psd work truck. my problem is that the wait to stat light comes on but wont go off. i did everything that i did when i installed my TW chip in my play truck? so i dk what the problem is? the truck is a caili truck so i dk if that matters but what could the problem be????

You don't have the terminals clean enough where the chip plugs into the PCM. Remove the chip and clean the terminals again.

iv cleaned it like 4 times! i dont wanna go down to the copper

You have to go down to the copper, just don't rub through it.

There is a coating over the copper contacts that has to be completely removed. Just don't rub through the copper contacts. It sounds like you are down to the copper contacts in some places and not others, that is why you are having the issue.

Ok, then you either have a connection problem still or the chip is burned for the wrong computer code. How did you determine the PCM code when you ordered the chip? If you read the tag on the PCM connector, that isn't always correct.
