Bad Injectors?

my truck has been missing every once and awhile recently and just today i was reving it up and it was pouring white smoke and missing really bad, any ideas of what might be wrong? i was thinking injectors maybe?

is this when warmed up or cold? tell us a little more about whats going on. It could be a lot of things

its when its warm or cold either way it just pours white smoke and when you first give it fuel it misses and sounds like crap and then it smooths out a little bit. i pressed the air stem thing on the fuel bowl to see if there was air in the fuel and it was just fuel that came out, i dont know what else to say.

Alright, Here is what I reccomend. Go find a computer that can do contribution tests and see what it says. If its a bad injector it will tell you. How many miles are on your unit?

223,000 miles, where could i find a computer that does this?

thats right about time for injectors. Uh anyone with a special AE with ford stuff on it can. Anyone with a snap on MT2500 with ford programming can. Maybe even a dealership if you know them decently

I found out today that if you watch your injectors (with the vavle cover off) where the oil excess comes out. If one is not puking oil like the rest then thats a bad injector. Saw it in person today. I will admit that I don't know how far gone a injecter has to be before this works.

The rockers were starting to make a mess but the injectors have the deflector thing.We just help up a rag/towel to keep oil from flying towards the fenders and it only ran for about a minute.
