water pump
My water pump went out last week.The impeller broke off of the shaft.I put a new one in.Every thing is working ok.My ? Is why would the the impeller come apart like that?Never seen that happen before.

It could have seized up and being the pulley is attached by bolts, the belt may not have slipped. Causing the shaft to break. Another theory I have is your fan clutch is bad.
