Need Help ASAP...fuel problem

Hey guys, I was in the process of putting an electric sending unit for my fuel pressure. Pulled the schrader valve out and put in a T with a 90. Put the sending unit in the T and the schrader valve in the 90 at the end of the T. Finished that much last night in the dark. Drove to church this morning and noticed i had a fuel leak so i checked the tightness on everything and was all tight. Started it to see if i could see fuel and its spraying from underneath where i put the fitting in. Anybody know what my problem is? Phone is 419-438-5688. Need to get fixed ASAP as i have to drive 725 miles home next weekend. Thanks in advanced.

dunno other than a loose fitting, stripped thread, etc. I'd take it all apart, use thread sealeant, put er all back together

read that the housing is a little brittle, i put just the schrader valve back in and its leaking underneath that a lil farther back...and the spray is kinda foaming...lot of pressure? don't think i cracked it do ya?

that does not sound good....its cast aluminum if i recall, and that can crack easily. I have heard of the housing cracking before......

yeah, i'm thinking i pry did crack it, i didn't get it that tight i didn't think...know of anywhere i can get one? and cheap?

ummm....no and no. IH sells them, but not cheap. Post a 911, maybe someone has one that will sell cheap for ya. A buddy paid like 400 plus from International.........

well it was cracked...called the ford dealer this morning here in Lincoln, NE and the guy didn't have a clue what I was even talking about....so....anyone around the eastern Nebraska area have a parts donor truck? I found one a guy had 50 min northeast of omaha but have to wait until wednesday, I'd like to have it going today if possible. phone is 419-438-5688

i did the same thing last year ended up having to buy whole new fuel bowl assembly from ford for $250, didnt install the sending unit on the new one, not risking it.

well no luck at the stealership...415 for just the housing 530 for the whole filter assembly....anyone around the lincoln, Ne area with parts?
