getting air in fuel lines from tank, can it happen?
Heres the deal, I had been driving for about 200 miles and had a quarter tank left when I noticed my truck started idling really rough. I switched it to diesel and it had a hard time getting going but then it took off and I have had no problems since (on SVO or diesel) My question is can you suck air into your fuel lines if you slosh the fuel away from the pickup tube in the tank because just before this rough idling started I had to hit my breaks pretty hard because i didnt have a chance to slow down before i took my exit. I dont think it is injectors because i wouldnt think injectors would go bad and then not give any problems after that and I have none of the tale tale white smoke often associated with bad injectors.

I used the Golden fuel systems ford front tank conversion kit and I get the oil for free from local resturants in the area. I modified the kit a little to suit my needs a little better so any you have ill be happy to try to answer. and the guys at golden fuel systems are great for bouncing ideas off of and they will always talk to you for as long as you need them to. give em a call. their number is on the website at goldenfuelsystems.com.
