fuel leak

hi i have a 95 f350 cc dually 7.3 my friend n me traded trucks but he didnt take care of it 2 much. i just put a 3in downpipe with a 4in exhaust n stacks i have a few things like new glow plugs,injector orings,n injector cups with vavle cover gaskets with harness. but the answer i was lookin for i found were the fuel leak is rite under the fuel filter i try 2 tighten the hose clamp it slow it down sum but i still got fuel leakin in th intake valley. should i get a hose kit 4 it n also the orings 4 the fuel filter housin. also how does anybody get the black smoke out the pipes when u get on it is their sumthing i have 2 change i was thinkin about remove the fuel filter n puttin in a inline fuel filter this is my 1st diesel ive been readin up on has much on them tryin 2 get has much power out of it without killin it any help or what 2 do or go thx

check the o-rings on the drain valve they go bad alot of times
