When you disconnected the EBPV did you make sure it wasnt stuck part way shut. could also be leaky turbo up pipes

yea i actually disconnected the exhaust pipe from the turbo to make sure it was all the way open when i disconnected it, and i checked all the turbo pipes

my truck makes very little boost at low rpm, it doesn't really make power untill over 2000 rpm. these old trucks don't have wastegates so basically they limit boost by only making any on the top end.

no the gauge is on the edge attitude and it is new and sorry it is a 2000 i put this in the wrong area.
