fuse 8 problems

soo i put a subwoofer in my truck last night got everything done shut all the doors and the dome lights stay on the knob isnt on and all the doors are shut but they stay on so i pulled the bulbs and then decided to pull fuse 8. this morning went to drive the truck and it wouldnt shift out of 2nd gear well fuse 8 controls the spedo as well so the truck wont shift unless the spedo works. went to put a fuse in and it instantly blew. the fuse holder has the exact same voltage as the batteries.

i have tested the door switches and there all good. all the stereo wires look clean and intact. i have checked/unhooked everything i can think of and ripped the dash apart yet everything looks okay cant find and shorts or bad grounds any other ideas? know anywhere i can find a complete wiring schematic for the truck?
