fuel cut out problems

I've searched the forum and the web and can't seem to find an answer. 96 7.3 is having fuel cut problems and i'm trying to narrow down what it could be. 1st through 4th gear the truck seems to cut out around 3k, and in 5th it cuts out about 2500. it just acts like i've hit a speed limiter or something, the turbo makes a god awful loud bark and boost drops off and the truck acts like i'm hitting a rev limiter, misses a little bit and has no power. I changed the fuel filter and cleaned the air filter and cleaned out the intake, so far nothing, no difference. Could my fuel pump be dying? It has swamps 175/146 injectors that were just installed back in june, never a problem until now.

Anything at all? Boost cuts out and gauge shoots straight to 0 when it happens.
