Fuel tank problem

I have a 97 350 cc 4x4 diesel. i have a leak in the rear tank... not a problem.. The question is, I keep driving it to empty the las few gallons of fuel so i can drop it and make the repair. Well i found it is pulling fuel from the front tank (or i have a magical fuel tank that can go 100 miles on E!!! )

So beside the tank what is the other part i need? ( i know it has to be a switching valve someplace!)
