I have read in previuos post abot a mold like substance in the fuel bowl, I have it in mine and was curious what it was from and how to fix it

It is algae ( spelling is wrong) what you need is a good diesel fuel conditioner. You need to dump that in the tank, replace the fuel filter and clean the fuel filter housing. Then what you need to do is go get a good full tank of premium diesel. I recommend you drop the tank and clean the tank out as well.
