Block heater not working?
Since 'ol man winter is back in the Northeast I plugged in my block heater for the first time-and it didn't do a beepbeepbeepbeep thing! My truck was stone cold this morning and I actually had a difficult time starting it for the first time ever. Where should I be looking?

Duh...I just realized I posted this in the wrong forum-although it may not matter since the fix might be the same. Mods?

You could check the ohms on it. I have a 2006, and it should ohm 12-17 for it to work correctly. Don't know the data on yours though.

Bad plug or cord leading to the block heater maybe?
