Solid Tuner for a 7.3

I know all about the 6.4's, but my buddy is looking at getting a tuner for his 97 7.3. I have been looking through the forum, and just wan't sure what the TD and TW were. Any help would be great. I didn't want him to make the same mistake as I did, and buy three different tuners before he found one that he likes.

TD im not sure i've heard of that one. The main 2 i'd say is probably Tw=Tony Wildman and DP tuner. They are custom chips that help the truck out a lot. There is others like Swamps and PHP. I run a TS and I actually like it. Any more questions?

I've ran DP Tuner and Swamps. I do not have a very good comparison between the two because I went from stock injectors to 238 hybrids with DP and then to 300's with swamps.

DP Was a very good daily driver and good fuel economy. I'm still trying to keep my truck on the road with the 300's for enough time to judge.

Those 2 are my favorite tuners. I have an assortment of TS, Bully Dog, and a DP-Tuner f5 sitting in my garage. I've used a few tuners before.

Maybe. Offer a reasonable price and I just may sell it. You will need to send it to Jody for tunes. It is setup for hybrids. She put out over 420hp with the 60hp tow tune.
