DP question

i have a 96 psd 5spd. i noticed that the DP flattenes out to clear the firewall and tranny. what if any mods would i have to do to get a 3 inch dp to clear?

you'll probably have to get in there and bend back the firewall so the new DP will fit. you'll have to use a sawzall to cut out the stock DP then i used an eight foot diggin bar stuck it in the hole were the old DP was and pryed up on the firewall to make enough clearance for the new DP. its pretty straight forward and a very nice upgrade for the OBS

yep like said above your gonna have to use some kind of method to bend the firewall a little to fit

thank ya for the help. i think im going to order me a new one today. i already have the old one un bolted due to a clutch change. they seemed to build the truck around this one bolt. but anyway thx again
