wategate

Is there a way to possibly make the wastegate louder without changing it out ( if it has one I just got my stroker) if there is could you possibly instruct me as to how to do it

i was just wondering because on my dads 99 i could hear the pressure being released and i didnt know if my 96 had the same type of setup

is there one that is applicable to the stock tp38? or would i have to invest in a newer turbo?

Newer turbo (alot of work and $$$), or get the ATS wastegated 1.0 housing which is about $600.

would a garrett t38bb be a better turbo or what would any of you reccomend?

That is air pressure coming back through the turbo on the intake side. AKA turbo fart.

thanks alot i appreciate the help i do believe i will get me a new turbo on order. are there any better turbo options than a garrett?? not a banks neither ( i gotta keep the budget)

if the 96 psd doesnt have a wastegate, what controls the boost and how is exess pressure released ??
