how can i make my PSD whistle more?

looks like you have an intake and exhaust, is it straightpiped? If so there isnt much more you can do to make it whistle really, a chip will feed more fuel along with injectors which may make the stock turbo scream a little more, but not really much

I still got the stock DP to 4" pipe to a 4" stack but in the near future iam lookin at IDM mod,DIY stage 1's,and either a D66 or the banks quick spool housing, when I do that i'll prolli go to 6" dual stacks

but yeah a downpipe is very necessary before anything else, then get yourself a custom tuned chip and youll hear more whistle

what will stage 2's do to say my truck as it sits right now ?

As it sits now, they could do some damage, your EGTs will soar especially with the stock DP.

Get those guages and 3" DP first and youll want some custom tunes for those injectors,

with the stage 2s if you run on a hot tune and are hammering on it your egts are still gonna get way up there and your 15* HPOP is really gonna be starving, youll throw a CEL pretty easily

Yea like matt has said, the biggest thing you can do to get more whistle is get rid of that flat down pipe and put a 3" downpipe in its place, it will make it whistle a lot more.

my buddy brandons truck has a 3" DP on it but its more exhaust sound than turbo, i like that turbo whistle ya know ? and I kinda in a round about way was asking if i put a trans temp in a pyro gauge in and a 3" DP as it sits would stage 2's hurt anything? or are custom tunes ptretty much required for stage 2's?? (think about gettin injectors then chip is why i ask) I been lookin for 17* HPOPs but I have heard of peaople just swaping the internals 15*s to 17*s , is that all you do or do you actually put the hole 17* HPOP on? BTW would stage 2"s without tunes smoke alot? seems like they would but I dunno

If you put in stage 2s with guages and downpipe and no tunes, then no they probably wont hurt anything, but you are gonna be seeing basically zero gains from doing this. If you want the full potential out of the 2s then yes you need custom tunes and yes if you put these in without doing anything else you are going to damage something

Your egts and boost are going to soar to dangerous levels, I would highly suggest an intercooler if your not going with a bigger turbo and I would highly suggest a 17* and yes it is a direct swap so you just bolt it in. Stage 2s with no tuning would smoke a little but not a lot, they will haze a little
