Down pipe question
Ok so I think I need some clarification on whats envolved with the changing of the downpipe. I have read that you need to "massage" the pipe into place, (with a 2ton jack).
very intimidating. I understand that realestate is at a premium here and I'm not opposed engineering with a hammer but wanted to know exactly what the skinny was. Oh and one more thing whats with the bump thing? I kinda feel like a

well i have a 3" down pipe and mine is bent almost perfectly. i can put min in by hand but if it were any bigger id need a hammer!!

i had to use a porta power against the bell housing and firewall

hey as far as the down pipe goes it is all where youe engine sets from the factory if it set more forward it will slide right it if it set mor to the rear the its a PITA (pain in the azz) but what i had to do ant it feel in a little easier was take my pass side VC (valve cover) off
and as far as the bump goes its to send the thread back to the top ot the page so it can get seen first oh and welcome to the org |

i had my dumped at the dp it seemed to have a little more bottom end but lost highway pickup and FM went through the floor. i just bought my stroker. by putting a bigger DP what kind of perf. if any at all will i be getting??
yea i know its a noobie question. lol
