turbo swap

I have a 96 F250 7.3. I was wondering if a turbo from a 99-2003 7.3 would fit exactly. Anyone know. It looks to be the same set up, just was wondering if anyone has tried it or if they know if it would work or not. I've been looking and havent found any aftermarket turbos for that year. Thanks

No, the 99 and up turbos will not fit, different mounting flanges. totally different.

Look to Beans Diesel Performance, and the D66 for a drop i replacement for your turbo. Its only option I believe thats a pure drop in with no mods for your year.

there is probably a way to fabricate a set up to make it work. But I have a feeling its either very expensive or complicated. I could be wrong. It's not a direct bolt I know that for sure. The D66 from beans diesel are the only direct bolt turbo I know of for that year
