How much power are you going to put through it? I do not have any power yet but plan to build some in the future. I went with the Con OFE seems to be nice so far. JJ

The Con OFE is rated at 450 RWHP. With the list of mods you have listed you will be plenty under that. Many people told me to go with the Valair and others. They said it was as good as the South Bend. The way I looked at it was if that is the clutch that everyone compares themselves to and is trying to emulate then that is the clutch I wanted. I do not mind spending the money on good parts I just do not like to spend it twice. JJ

SB or Valair are my top 2 choices.. you can find both here: Clutches
let me know if you have any questions about it... with stage 1's and the hpop you will prob only be int he low 300's HP... -Raul |

I wouldn't recommend Sled pulling with a single disc no matter how little power you have.
Here's a Vote for Haisley Machine DD if your gonna pull, if not then go with a SBC Con-OFE, IMO that is the only single disc worth having. FE's are too grabby and aggressive, even my Haisley street puller is more tame than one. -Michael |
