Opinions on the Standard TS Chip tunes?

I'm looking at buying a TS chip with their tunes, are there any opinions as to how good or bad these TS tunes are?

I am not talking about the TW tunes, just the standard TS tunes that come with the chip.

The TS tunes arent bad, i know a guy that has a TS and it really does haul the mail

they arent bad tunes, but custom tunes are the best way to go

..also, if you want to later down the road, you can send it to get a re-burn with custom tunes

For the record, this TS chip is pretty cool for the money, $230 shipped, shifting on the truck is so much smoother, and acceleration is night and day.

I'd say this chip, while not adding gobs of power, really does improve the overall driveability of the truck. I like it!

i really like mine too. however i really cant tell much of a difference from the 100hp to the 140+hp setting. but each stage up until then is very noticeable. sorry to hijack...but is this normal for there to be no difference on those? could it just be maxing out at the 100hp setting? only have straight piped exhaust and diy intake. btw sam...what didnt you like about it after your injectors? im looking to do the diy stage 1s.

I think you answered your own question, the stock injectors choke the tunes, they just can't keep up.

For a stock truck with just a few mods, I think the TS tunes are plenty.

I like my TS chip in my truck I didn't think there was much of a difference between 100 and 140 but there is a difference besides smoke. This is unofficial testing but my 0-60 times are 1-2 seconds quicker
