1997 F-250 shackel reversal kit

I just put a 1 ton front axle and a shackle reversal kit in my truck and it rides like a brick. I thought the reversal kit was supposed to improve the ride. I used the 3/4 ton springs and was wondering if that has something to do with it.

Well a solid axle rides like a pritty rough compaired to your IFS. A RSK on a solid axle makes it a little less harsher ride.

Were the spings ūT springs out of a diesel or a gas truck?

Well i dont know how the ride is but its probaly because of the D60 solid front axle. There not as good of a ride as your old TTB IFS D50. But are the Shocks good? Bilstien shocks are a good upgrade.

A D60 will be much better than any D50 could ever be in ride quality, the reason yours is bad is the F250 springs. You need F350 springs or better yet SD V codes, I developed this mod and if you are interested PM me.
