Injectors????

I have a 97 F-250HD and was wondering what HP injectors I could go to with out intercooling it. Also if you know what the injector code is.

It should be AA code. Also I would say stage 1's is the most you should go without an intercooler.

I bet they are ABs

the 97 trucks seem to run alot quieter than my 95, so im not sure on that one

and yes, stage 1's would be the most i would go to without an intercooler

but as long as your egts stay down, it wouldnt be impossible to go bigger..

The injector code is probably AA, however if it is a California emissions truck it will have AB's which are splits. The only real way to tell is to pull off a valve cover and look at the code which is printed on the injector solenoids, but there are other ways that you can guess that it is a cali truck. I am sure that someone will chime in with the other clues.

Anything bigger than 1's, youll need a 17* hpop to get the full potential !!!
I am waiting to go with stage 2's....17*hpop and intercooled.

You also can look at your pcm code to see if its a split shot truck or not.
