It's the one BTS uses in all of their transmissions, very good converter, one of the best for this application IMO. Install that Torque converter with the pump mods it requires and a Transgo kit in the Valve body and you should have a stout transmission.

What happens if you only install the TC as a replacement of the stock TC? is not good or what?.

No, its fine to install as a factory replacement, we have a couple trucks that we've installed just the PI converter and Valvebody with great results

Ah, ok, thank you, I was curious, because I only have a custom valve body and was thinking upgrade just the TC.

i just had a bradco converter built with the triple disk clutch, all bearings no shims, billet cover and i had the transgo kit put in and it make a BIGG difference I ALSO RECENTLY ADDED THE TW CHIP WHICH MADE A DIFF ALSO, I DONT KNOW WHERE U LOCATED BUT THIS GUY SHIPPS EVERYWHERE AND I RUN HIS CONVERTER IN MY MUD TRUCK, STREET CAR THAT HAS 2 200 SHOTS OF SPRAY AND NOW IN MY 97 PSD HAULER THEY ALL WORK PERFECT. IMO I WOULD NOT PUT A SHELF CONVERTER IN ANYTHING JUST MOP.

I would call BTS or JW if you aren't getting the awnsers here. I would also put a big tranny cooler in to keep the temps down.
