Diesel Innovations 6 pos

yeah so i just installed a diesel innovations 6 pos chip:
1. stock
2. hi idle
3. tow
4. daily driver
5. race
6. extreme

any way i hooked it in to make sure it worked and the daily driver smokes more than my race and extreme....the extreme really doesnt smoke that much more than my race....does that sound normal....

tow tune should hold rpms a little longer before it shifts to keep the rpms up in the next gear. I would think daily would shift normally through the gears

Dave's extreme isn't a balls out program. Mostly cause alot of fuel is wasted...(smoke) His extreme is geared more to a hard pull through the entire power band. Think of it as an efficient power program all the way through your top end. Less smoke does not mean less power. It should smoke pretty good til you top it out to a light to medium haze.

I'd give Lott a call with any questions. But with the limited fuel you have in your stock injectors the upper settings aren't going to be very different
