Trans. shop in the Baytown,Houston,Tx. area
can anyone recommend a shop near either one? or a aftermarket trans. around 4k?

Diesel Innovations does trans work to these trucks I believe, give them a call and see what they can do for you. Otherwise BTS would be my choice

ahh there is a racing trans shop on main. in baytown. i cant remember the name...its something weird i think their in the phone book. i didnt like diesel innovations, customer service sucks.
