Why dont you buy an early 99 spyder? it works fine.

yes it will work. I used early 99 spider pipe and super duty pipes(fabbed up a little). will also be able to keep you filter housing

X2 what he said. you also need a new clamp because the castiron is thicker than the stock y pipe and 2 new hoses 2 to 2 3/8" to connect the new spider with the plennums (intakes)
here are the number parts:
Early ’99 Y-pipe: F81Z-6K889BA

Clamp (Y-pipe to 94-97 compressor): F81Z-8287DA or M/craft Service Part #YF-2488

2 Coupler (Y-pipe to 94-97’s 2” intakes): F81Z-6C640FA (2-3/8” to 2” reducer)

If you get the Ford spider, you will need:

1 - 3/8 NPT allen plug
2 - 1/8 NPT allen plugs
Also not a bad idea to pick up a new turbo outlet O-ring. Some like to use the Navistar gray RTV instead of the O-ring.

The SD spider will have two nipples sticking out that will need to be removed. Drill (forgot drill size) the holes out so you can tap it out to 1/8NPT.

I'll post a pic of it installed tomorrow if the weather is decent.
