Problems with 5" Exhaust

I'm going to do a 5" exhaust and heard there's clearance issues with the spare but I'm wondering does the spare need to come out or is it just a pain to bend the pipe around it?

I have the diamond eyes 5" kit. Had to take the spare down to install but I was able to get it back up with a little wiggling of the exhaust. I'd post a pick but my trucks in the shop right now

You can do a 3" down pipe and 5" down pipe back, but your not gonna fit a 5" off the turbo between the engine and firewall

I'm alittle low on money, what would change if I chopped off the cat and welded on a tube to replace it?
