Unfortunately I still havent got the chip back from being reburned so now I just have to wait to get that back before I can really start having fun! Hopefully I get it back soon So heres the install pictures for you guys Heres some of the rebuilt injectors ![]() ![]() Heres with all the injectors seated in the engine but no wiring hooked up and no glow plugs in yet ![]() ![]() Heres all the oil deflectors and retaining bolts ready to go back on ![]() Here it is with all the oil galley plugs reinstalled as well as the oil deflectors and retaining bolts. Once I had those in I cranked the engine a few times to purge all the oil and fuel out of the cylinders through the glow plug holes ![]() ![]() Here are 6 of the new glow plugs ready to go in, the other two were already installed at the point I took the pic ![]() Here it is with the UCVHs all installed and hooked up to the injectors and glow plugs and the valve cover gasket all hooked up ![]() ![]() ![]() After this I started the truck up to make sure everything was alright before reinstalling the valve covers. It took about 25 minutes of cranking then stopping then cranking again before she finally fired up, there was a lot of air in the system and a good deal of white smoke puffed out as expected. Then I reinstalled the valve covers ![]() ![]() Then I hooked everything else up and then done! After that though I drove for about 50 miles to work all the air out of the system

Oh and I just want to give a big thanks to Jim (DZL_JIM) at DIY injectors for getting my injectors rebuilt and back to me very fast. He does great work and honestly it feels like I am driving a whole new truck even with out the chip. The truck feels like new, thanks again Jim, If anyone is thinking about doing injectors talk to Jim Rose

Thanks man, its really a lot easier than you would think only took 2 and a half hours to get everything back together. And yeah if you have any questions I will be happy to answer any of them. I asked a million questions when I first went about doing my injectors so I will be happy to answer as many questions as you or anyone else has. Thats one of the reasons I started this thread
