turbo

hi i'm going to upgrade my turbo but don't know what to get and what the difference is between the turbo's

Personally I'd go with the H2E kit. It's not real chap but it's a very durable turbo that will take a lot of abuse.

There is a drop in available but it's not had the best of track records for being able to handle a lot of abuse. Some beat them and they hold up OK and some don't hold up well at all. Being it's just a modified stock turbo and the stock turbos like to take out the thrust bushings it's not surprising.

D66 is a good option and its warrantied , so talk to Bean for the truth on its relibility for your motor. Next option is a H2e..all depends on how much you can spend.

That's what I was refering to. some hold up some don't. A warranty is nice but it doesn't make your truck run while you have the turbo out getting warrantied and it doesn't save your back from laying over the front of your truck every time you have to swap the turbo out.

heard alot of good things about beans D66 my buddy has the D66 on his 96 F350 with stage 1 injectors and a banks intercooler and the fpr shim and he hasnt had any problems with it
