Ebay Chip Results!! And 05 6.0 Aem Intake On My 95 7.3

Ok so I got the ebay chip that I posted about a bit ago and it actually kicks beepbeepbeep. here are my results.

Truck was all stock, if you dont know its a auto 95 PS Dually crew cab. 410 rear

Ok so install was easy, all you do it ground it and then tap the Fuel Injector pressure unit.

There are 6 positions. Here is the best description of each

1- Snappier throttle, about 15 hp on the butt dyno
2- Economy, tow setting, Fuel ave went up 1.5 MPG! About 30-40hp on the butt dyno
3- much more response, about 50hp on the butt dyno
4- Seems to be like 3 but more snappier (faster at less throttle)
5- Big hp setting about 80hp difference (CEL comes on if you really beat on it, code is raise in fuel pressure)
6- SMOKE setting, super responsive, hauls beepbeepbeep. Can spin them through first, this is my dually DRIFT setting. 100hp on the butt dyno (same CEL deal)

The boost goes up about 1.5 psi each setting. My boost hit about 23 psi without the exhaust and intake mods. then about 25 with my intake exhaust.

EGT's get on the hot side with it on 5 and 6 with an all stock set up. With the intake and exhaust, they are ok, but as any set up if you really beat on it for a long time they will climb to high.

Deffinatly a good bang for the buck, I bought it used for 50 shipped.

Disclaimer *im not responsible for anything if this mod f's your truck up*

works perfect on my truck and I have had no problems.

Next I got a AEM BRUTE force intake for the 05 6.0L PS off ebay for 60 shipped!! Looked like it would work from the picture and it did, effortlessly! Its 4 inch also! Ill post pics up tomorrow

Then I did the exhaust, Its a 3.5 inch straight piped system that side exits before the rear wheel. I cut the exhaust right before the cat, then moved the factory exhaust pipe after the cat to where I cut before the cat. Then I cut the 90 degree bend from the rear of the truck (where it exits behind the wheel from the factory) and clamped that at the end of the factory pipe that I moved to delete the cat. So basicly its a stock exhaust minipulated to a straight pipe that exits out the side right before the rear wheel.

results

faster spool, awesome sound, more power, more smoke and hope fully better fuel economy.

Best part- it was FREE!!!!!

Total cost of mods- $110

Time

intake- 10 min
chip- 10 min
exhaust- 2 hours

You should get a down pipe to complete your exhaust, just take a look at the factory down pipe!
