Need help with track bar

Guys, got a real hum dinger of a stupid question. Replacing my factory track bar, as getting a replacement was faster than a bushing kit. The new bar has a bushing setup where one side has a rubber shoulder and the other side of same bushing is metal. This is same for both ends of the bar. Does the rubber side face forward or rear or does it matter? Please help as my girl wants her feet back on the ground. Thank you

Lets see pictures of this track bar. It doesn't sound like it has the correct bushings in it. It should have rubber on both sides. You should have gotten the bushing set from Napa for about $15.
