Starters

Does anyone know what the stock starter out put is? Is it lower or higher then this nippon denso one?

New Ford Truck Powerstroke Diesel Starter 7.3 HT 17578: 17578-New DB Electrical Starter-Alternator

I heard the Denso one is higher output, could be wrong though.

That one is a beefcake. Not sure if i trust two bolts to hold such a monster on. Anyone here have any experience with it.

Why not? They been working on SD's for a LOOOONG time...I have never heard of a bolt failure on the staters

I replaced my stock starter and just got one from autozone.....Friggen chrysler makes the replacement one, i was like WTF!? wish i had done somemore research, but alls well now.
