Please school me on PCS controller for E4OD

Did a search and nuthin really came up. Went to PCS's wedsite and clearly need assistance. Which one to buy, how to hook it up, how to set up shift strategy. My thinking is I'd like to be able to manually shift it as well as put it in an "auto" mod for say highway driving. If I could have it like my Honda Rubicon ATV shift up and down touch of a button and use for slowing down as well would be ideal.

Thanks,

jrc

The US Shift Transmission Control System

I have been looking at this one.
the ability to manually shift with cruise buttons is built in for our trucks
$425 for the unit, $150 for the harness

Cool m j thanks, some interesting reading price points look a far bit than the PCS too.

What you don't like your ZF?

Love mine compared to what the Red sig truck had in it... was a built E4OD with a PI stallion TC with Tugger 2 shift kit in it but I think it was not working correctly at the time and me not knowing any better. Downshifting (auto) would not work and seemed to unlock the TC and free wheel is what it felt like. I got pissed with it as it over headed a couple of times before and after (I put in V10 in bumper cooler with puller fan too). So I yanked it, swapped in a ZF-5 and thats been awesome.

The notion with the White/silver truck is to have the positive "feel" of a standard tranny especially on downshift engine hold back and the seem less no boost loss accelerations of an automatic. I am finding this auto is nice to drive around town and does kinda grow on ya. Now if I could electronically shift it at will.... which the quick 1 module and PCS do it's just a matter of dough... and time.

Thanks again

jrc

I'll snoop around here in Kamloops area have a couple of guys that I'll give a call to next week and see. What are cores worth as I don't know? I had mine totally rebuilt 2 years ago and iirc it was $1500.00 at the time it had 480,000 kms on it and needed some attention.
