450HP Goal Build Need Advice

Hey guys thinking about going to the next level with the truck as well as fixing a few problems with new parts and adding 200 horses. I would like to do that while keeping it safe, reliable, and still be fun to drive while maintaining her manners on the street.

I have a Non-Cali 97 F250 SCLB 4WD Auto w/4.10's Lifted 4in. on 35x12.50's

Problems- E4OD is not shifting on time
Up-pipes are leaking
Not enough power

Mods I already have include- Guages (EGT, Boost, Trans temp, E-fuel Press.)
- (S&B)
- Exhaust (3in DP & 5"DP back)
- PHP Phoenix 6 POS chip
- DIY E-FUEL

Ok with that all said I need some advice on parts and what will get me to the 450HP Ballpark. I'm also not sure what the threshold HP# is that I'm going to start needing studs and springs.

Budget- Still not sure but should be around 5-6k.
Trans rebuild- Will be by local shop (Gary's Transmission).

Some ideas for parts- -Irate 366 t4 mount and IC pipes $2595
- Irate Plenumns $195
- 200cc Hybrids $1650-$2250
- T500 HPOP $449
- Chip Reburn
- Modded IDM $275
- Traction Bars $500
- 7.3 or 6.0 IC

That's all I can think of right now. If you guys have any suggestions feel free to chime in. Its been a while since if done anything to the truck because I've been working on building a custom Bass boat all summer. So I think its time to get my truck beefed up and back in action.

a 160/100 injector and a D66 will get you there with the rest of your mods. i would be careful about the trans that's going to be the biggest thing. does your $5-6K budget include the trans or not?

It will be pretty hard to get 450hp out of a set of 160's...

I would say a set of 230/100, 17* HPOP or a Honey Badger Jr, Good tuning from No Limit, Gearhead or like and a T4 or T4i turbo...

Give Tim a shout at Performance Injection Systems...
