Idm mod?

I want to know if i put a newer idm in my truck will it be the same as if i did the idm mod to my stock idm? If so what year idm should i put in?

No the idm mod done to your idm will be better since it will putout roughly 140 volts vs. 120 in the newer superduty idms. More voltage means the injectors can open quicker and longer.

thanx, i think i will find a spare idm and mod it. i dont want to fry mine and not have a truck to work with.

I'm thinking about doing mine, I have the resistor. I have a low 15watt soldering pencil so i would burn anything up
