custom 5" exhaust..... $309

i have worked at an auto value parts store since labor day and i was constantly looking up parts for my truck such as exhaust. all of the exhaust i looked at were all at least $400 for 4 ". 2 days ago i was looking through our books and i found a semi book that goes through our wharehouse and it had everything i needed. today i ordered a 10' stick of 5" pipe and three 45 degree bends and one 90 degree. im am kinda worried but i think i did the math right........ 180-45+90-45=180 and the third 45 for the exit and tip to go on.... does this

sound right?

I think instead of the one 90 degree piece I would have got two 45s just cause from looking at my old exhuast a 90 looks like it might be too steep everything else sounds right though

i just got it on yester day and everything worked out great. the 90 worked out great because the pipe is so big. i had absolutly no problems i will get some pics later. the bends where 45, 90, 45, 45 out the side.

i just put on my 4" turbo back exhaust fri. night/ sat. morning....

did you replace the down pipe??

Since he hasn't posted in a while no he did not replace DP at same time. Me and him talked this over a little and he did all the parts scrounging, the 45-90-45 looks factory. Turned out very good. Finished out with a 5"-6" MBRP tip.
