6.0 intercooler questions

Okay so I was on Craigslist and came across a 6.0 intercooler. And called the guy for giggles. He said he didn't know what it was worth and wanted 50 bucks for it. So for one is it doable to put one in our obs trucks? And can you get a kit for the pipes ?

How much fab work is required? Does the radiator need to move ? And what about the spyder can you get those? I'm just kicking it around and trying to find out about it because the intercooler itself is so cheap.

You will need an E99 intake spider and a couple sets of pipes...

I've done it before, not hard, just not drop in.

CCV is before the turbo not after where the IC install will be [EDIT: don't know why I needed to type that. I was working on my cousins SD yesterday and must still be in SD mode]. And yes, most of us flip the house and run a 1/2" hose down and under the truck to be dumped. No smog in Cali means I run open and free. Take that mother Earth! She's only crying because she's losing.

Are there any other options other than an e99 spyer? That I do not have to buy a whole kit for? Or can I get an e99 from the dealer now? Maybe someone knows the part number ? Thanks for all of your imput guys really appreciate it.

E99 spyders are discontinued when the 3" SD spyder arrived. I _think_ tylmar sells just their spyder. I believe you can get it from Cary@CT_Performance on here or from Complete Performance out of Texas. There is nothing to complicated about it except how thin the wall is on the pipe. A competent exhaust shop should be able to make you one from a good picture.

BANKs sells individual pipes but he is wicked expensive.

Okay another question what size are the intake and outlet port sizes on the 6.0 cooler ? Because they are 2in on the e99 correct?
