another T4 turbo question

so im doing a t4 conversion on my obs and i have a question. are all t4 turbos the same? meaning is a s366 meant for a cummins the same as one sold for a powerstroke? or even a honda for that matter? are the compressor housings all mounted the same way on them? as in facing the same direction...
id just rather not spend the $1200 from swamps or somewhere when i can get the same turbo somewhere else for almost half the price
many thanks ahead of time

I don't know that much about the T4 setups but I do know this. Most of these turbos that I have worked with use a band clamp to hold the housing to the center section. This allows you to rotate to fine adjustment which direction the ports are facing. That said I do not believe the turbo from a smaller engine will feed our 7.3L's the same as it feeds the engine the turbo was originally setup for. A 5.9 takes and expels less volumetric "air" than a 7.3L per rotation. This turbo would spool quick but would run out of steam just as quick on our trucks. Getting the right parts to make it work is doable hoping from junkyard to junkyard but will most likely cost a bunch of time and math.

If you are spending 1200 on a s366 you are paying waaaay to much. there are tons of options on a 366, the one we offer is 850 shipped for a reference.

There are many variations of the s366. The 366 is just the frame. U have to look at the inducer and exducer specs, ratio of the housing, overall cfm flow ect....

s300 is the frame 66 is the compressor inducer

I would go s400, s467fmw is what I bought

the only way to compare is with the part number. there are housing options on both sides, the dodge guys seem to use the right angle compressor outlet and a t3 turbine housing.
