Like I said yours sounds great with the stock muffler. My 4" straight pipe with the turn out before the rear wheel is f$ckin loud... but I have a kick a$$ stereo and two subs to rise above it when I want.

I just had my cat cut out and they just put a pipe in its place so no need to order anything. And just monday i had the dp put on. I had a muffler shop do it. They cut the old one in half and put the new one in. It was worth the 65 dollars to have them do it. I do still have my muffler and as far as the turbo i can hear it when i get up to around 2k rpm but have to have my side window down. I have a 4 door 96 one ton. So no screaming turbo sounds here.

I have a 3inch dp,but I need to go bigger.31/2 or 4 inch, but will have to cut firewall.so right now, just getting the pieces together.that tight bend is a pain in the *ss.so still looking for pipes and tight bends.but it will pay off in the end.

imo 3" is fine with the stock turbo...the only way i'd be cutting my firewall is if i had a huge turbo and pushing big hp #'s
