203 thermostat
Anyone ever install a 203 thermostat in their truck. Did it make as much of a difference as they say on their website?

I don't know about operation differences but my 203 make the cab warm at idle in the winter ( the reason I always get them). I have not noticed any performance difference from the 195s tho. and I have still never come close to getting the water temp hot.

![]() I was going to ask this question eventually. I am guessing with running B100 and WVO it would be in my best interest to run it at a higher operating temp.

no difference in mileage or performance between stock and the 203 for me. don't think it warmed up any quicker either.

I dont know if it actually warms up quicker, I think it just lets the motor run hotter.

diesel run more efficien at a higher temp...case in point, check your fuel milage in January and again in July....i got 22 mpg this morning on the computer read out...and it is within .5 of being accurate. I checked it many times.
In winter i will never see over 20 mpg. 18 at best. So a hotter T-stat should add some milage i would think. |
