Is the BHAF ok to run on OBS?

Im just wonderin if you can run the big dry air filters on the OBS

Yeah you can. Check out Beans Diesel Performance, they have the Tymar intake.

An Aftermarket Airbox would be better though, like the K&N FIPK or AFE setup

i dont think so there is no way that a k&n is better than a diy.the diy filters way better and moves just as much air

Maybe not the K&N Stock Replacement, but the K&N FIPK kit is MUCH better than the DIY TYMAR setup.

This has been proven over and over again.

Any of the kits which direct cooler air into the filter is MUCH better than just a HUGE filter pulling in HOT air.

that is what a intercooler is for.to cool the air before it goes in the engine.any oil air filter does not filter as good not even close to as good as paper.when you pull cold air in what do you think happens to that air after it hits a hot turbo,it warms up then goes to the intercooler.
