TW chip with check engine light

I installed my new TW chip sunday and started the truck in high idle setting. Shut it off and finished install and switched it to economy to go for a drive. As soon as I started it I got a check engine light. Drove around and tried each setting (extreme is awesome) Everything seems fine, but still the check engine light. My truck is a california truck if that matters. Also it almost "lopes" in tow, street race, and extreme settiing, is this normal. thanks for the help

Try contacting Tony to make sure you got the correct Cali burns. If the tunes are correct, you may need to remove the chip and clean the board a little better.

May also need a bigger HPOP, the 2003 7.3 has a higher capacity HPOP. Bolts right in, just need to swap old fittings onto new pump.

im running the chip on my 03 7.3 with no problems... the CEL is prob from the contacts not being cleaned enough... take the chip out and check the contacts.... if you still have a problem give tony a call and im sure he will set it straight

thanks for all the responses. I e mailed tony today and found out he mistakenly put the burn for an automatic tranny, hence the cel. he is sending me a new chip with the correct burns and a prepaid return box. I can't stress the great customer service enough. I would reccomend his company to any one looking. truck kicks butt in extreme too!!!
