I wanted John woods but I couldn't get a hold of him either. I called 5 times and emailed 3, never got any response back. I wanted him since I live in San Diego but that is just terrible customer service, what happens if something breaks? I straight told him I wanted to buy the tow master Trans so asked what do I need to do?

Anyway, I don't want to pay shipping and want a local-ish warranty so I'm getting it rebuilt at a local diesel shop. I'm sure BTS would be awesome though, not really necessary for where my truck is at right now though.

BTS will be cheaper than John's if that's a concern. Both build a great trans and both have great warrantee's.

I drop ship BTS trans all over the country..can get you the best price..but they are booked out aprox 7-8 weeks min. We can get them done quicker as we have locked in dates.

PM me if I can help with your zip for shipping.

Not sure if that was directed at me, but if it was, I can't afford BTS right now. I would love it but my truck doesn't race, drag, pull, mud, anything like that. I drive it less than 2k a year. Most I tow is my slide in camper and a Jeep on a flat bed. Less than 10K. I am making probably 350HP with my sticks detuned. I figure a good convertor, shift kit, and the upgraded hard parts I should be fine. And if its not then I have 3 years to save my Pennies. The wife is already upset I have to do this, let alone spending double on a BTS, she'd kill me...we didn't talk for a week when I bought my sticks, intercooler setup, and e fuel stuff all at once. don't get me wrong, a BTS would be preferred, but can't afford it, and I'll probably never speak of JW again, that's just plain ridiculous.

I did a BTS thru Cary at C. T. Performance, had him install it, and the whole deal, over three years ago.....it's been Flawless ...couldn't be better. Cary is a great guy to work with, and I've had him do some
other stuff for me too, I wouldn't go anywhere else, Period.

the transmission is one thing you don't want to go *CRUNCH* in the middle of nowhere Podunk USA in the middle of the night..... buy a good one, you won't be sorry lateron....
