PHP tunes

So I sent my chip back to Cary to get it re-burned with tony wildman tunes. I just got an email saying that php locked the chip so that no one else can put tunes on it. Has anyone else had this issue? That is total bull sh!t because now I have to buy a whole new chip as this one is useless to me.

What's wrong with the PHP tunes? And well now you have 2 chips, and you can decide which makes more power

How do you lock a chip?

The shifts sucked, especially towing. Also, their custom tunes are pricey and I liked Tony's free re-burns.
