140hp chip
Hey does anyone have a tw, ts, or dp tuner on their 94-97 obs? I was just wondering how their truck holds up and if you've had any problems with the truck over heating or any other engine problems, thinking about getting one myself here within the next few paychecks....I'm tired of getting passed by suburbans..

I think youll be happy with tony wildman for your obs. seems liek he has a little better tuning on the first gen powerstrokes.

yea I keep going back and forth between dp and tony. i know that I am getting the stock and 80hp economy settings for sure but i can't decide If I want to get the 140hp setting...I don't want to kill my engine

Their is no such thing as a set HP setting...marketing hype! Every engine is different and so are everyones mods. Get a chip for your mods not a generic chip, get one from Tony Wildman, then as you mod for more power have him re-burn it...for free!

Stealth Automotive. Tony Wildman Chip
Tony's tunes rock, and having a tune custom-tailored for you mods is the best. Yesterday I was pulling a trailer with 3 ATV's (3500lbs-ish) up a 8% 1km grade, doing 110km/h. There was some smoke, but EGT's were only 1100F and the truck didn't loose any speed, even though I was in 5th gear, and I was using my low setting (i think it's 40HP, tuned for the stage II injectors) |

yea I'm trying to find a thread that I was reading earler and some people run their extreme or race tunes daily but I don't know if that is good or bad for the engine. I'm assuming its alright as long as you watch the gauges?

Depends on how heavy your foot is.
