Water meth?

Hey guys I have been reading and watching videos about water meth and have some questions. I have seen many vids with tons of white smoke and quenching. Is the white smoke common or is that due to oversized nozzles and too much flow, or due to not having the proper programming? Little info guys.

What videos are you watching with white smoke and water injection? There is no reason to have white smoke with water injection in a DD truck...

Pulling truck running gallons of water in a single pull, maybe.

Youtube typed in 7.3 powerstroke and many had white smoke and one guy called his video quenching. So was wondering if bad programming or bad nozzles, water meth is new to me, at least the diesel tech part

I've been running water meth for over 10 years now, you should never have white smoke from water injection.

If you do your running it too soon, or too much water then you will get white smoke.

No tuning changes are needed to run water injection.

Ok sweet. He had taped into y pipe on the video. He also went to the biggest nozzles they had on a stocking truck.

wait, he was injecting into the y pipe?!? you want it in your intake right before the manifold..

you are gonna get steam if you inject cold water into a hot exhaust hence the white smoke...
