DIY intake filter/prefilter
Just got my prefilter cover from Pete (F250) Install was a snap and looks great!! I put a piece of stove tin around the edge off the filter to stop water from directly hitting the filter thru the hood gap.

Nice looking installation. Is that PVC pipe painted black?

Yup, all spare parts from the city shop and a Fernco clay to plastic adapter to fit the filter, some krylon paint for plastic and it looks and works great!!
